There are two types of debris flow alerts, which are yellow and red alerts. When the predicted precipitation exceeds the threshold value,the Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation issues a yellow alert for debris flow; when the actual precipitation exceeds the threshold value, the Bureau issues a red alert.
