Peace Winds Japan Visits ARDSWC

We hosted representatives from Peace Winds Japan, an international aid organization from Japan. Since its establishment in 1996, Peace Winds has collaborated with numerous global companies and organizations, not only providing emergency assistance but also supporting mid- to long-term recovery and reconstruction efforts. It is dedicated to addressing major social issues such as disasters, conflicts, and promoting regional revitalization. During this visit, we introduced the operations of the disaster emergency operation center, including debris flow disaster emergency action team, disaster-resistant communities, and real-time observation images. Representatives from Peace Winds Japan expressed a keen interest in the coordination between the Taiwanese government and civil society and plan to establish a branch in Taiwan to promote cooperation between the two regions in disaster prevention and relief fields.
