Provide funding for the 1st 60-country Young Leaders Summit on Climate Change

We provided funding to the Happy Home World Alliance International (HHWAI) to organize the 1st 60-country Young Leaders Summit on Climate Change. On October 26, the summit invited ambassadors and representatives from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Palau, and Tuvalu to discuss the responses of various countries to the challenges posed by climate change. During the meeting, we shared Taiwan’s successful experiences in rural development, soil and water conservation, and disaster management, with a particular focus on the cases of landslide prevention in the Huashan area and the revitalization of the coffee industry. The participants expressed strong interest in Taiwan’s experiences and engaged in in-depth discussions. The ambassadors from the three countries expressed a desire to establish long-term cooperation mechanisms with our agency to share technologies and experiences, and look forward to exploring specific cooperation plans in the future. The meeting not only facilitated international exchange of experiences but also laid the foundation for future collaboration.
