Japanese scholars visit Huashan and ARDSWC - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

On March 5, 113, Professor HISADA Kenichiro of Tsukuba University and Professor OKADA Daiji of Hiroshima International University visited Taiwan. They engaged in in-depth discussions on historical disasters at Huashan and participated in a DIY coffee roasting experience. They also discussed disaster prevention education practices at Huashan Elementary School with Principal Wen-tse, Wu. Furthermore, they visited ARDSWC to discuss preparedness for landslides and large-scale disasters, emergency response operations, and community-based disaster prevention measures.
