The reception of the AARDO delegation on "Innovative Agriculture Policies & Programmes for Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Development" - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

We assisted the Ministry of Agriculture in organizing an expert exchange with the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) on "Innovative Agriculture Policies & Programmes for Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Development" On October 29, a delegation of 10 senior and mid-level officials from the agricultural sectors of India, Bangladesh, Ghana, Malaysia, Namibia, Zambia, and other countries visited the Hankeng community in Hsinchu County. During the event, the guests participated in a persimmon DIY activity and a community tour, learning about how Taiwan integrates traditional agriculture with modern innovations to achieve the goal of a six-level industrial structure. On November 1, the delegation participated in a comprehensive discussion at the Ministry of Agriculture, sharing their impressions on Taiwan’s agricultural technology and rural regeneration policies. We also took this opportunity to introduce the rural regeneration program mechanism and share the case of post-disaster recovery in the Huashan community in Gukeng, Yunlin, as well as the "livable, business-friendly, and tourist-friendly" rural development strategy.
